William Shakespeare – Interactive Website
We launched Shakespeare in November, 2007. At the time, we were still playing with the possibilities of ways to deliver great literature electronically to the classroom and despite the limited resources and technology we had available, I believe this literary web site was a home run. It includes:
an animated/audio interview with William Shakespeare (conducted by yours truly)
a hip-hop rendition of Macbeth
two reader’s theater play adaptations of Macbeth (traditional/modern)
an interactive time line of Shakespeare’s life
and of course… a majestic red curtain that opens to reveal it all.
